Review: Dear Nobody - Berlie Doherty

3/5

The book centres on Chris and Helen who are both studying for their A-levels and planning to go to university in October.
Then Helen finds out that she is pregnant, and the baby is due in October, and that turns her whole world upside down.

Her mum wants her to have an abortion and carry on with school and take her place at a prestigious music school in October, but Helen doesn't know what she wants yet.

Chris just wants to be with Helen, and hasn't really though about the baby yet. He is considering trying to move his university place to somewhere a bit closer to home, so he isn't too far away from Helen.

This was a very short but good read. I liked that the story was told from both viewpoints, and Helen's view point was in letters to her unborn child, which she calls nobody.

I did like the ending of this book, and the decisions that both Chris and Anna made.
