5/5The Resistance is the second book in the series, following on from The Declaration.
Peter, Anna and baby Ben are now legals, living freely in the outside world and the time is coming when they will have to make the choice whether to sign The Declaration or not. Peter takes up his grandfathers job offer in Pincent Pharma, the factory responsible for creating the wonder drug Longevity. His intent is to gather valuable information for the Underground, but while there he discovers the ugly truth behind the newest experiments and how the Longevity+ drug is really being created.
This book focuses more on Peter's life rather than Anna's (although she is still in there!) And his battles with his own beliefs, and what is morally right or wrong.
